I was pleasantly surprised but how thick these steaks were, they were all every bit an inch thick if not more. My only problem with them is the amount of fat. There is way more content than I would have picked if I were shopping for them hopefully with that amount of fat they will be tender though

Although, a little pricey for the quantity you get, indulging every once in a while in a good quality steak meal can be an enjoyable experience, despite the cost.

This is one of our favorites. The steaks are delicious. They're so fresh and have such an especially good taste. We buy them, on a limited budget freeze them individually and then split one with two people. The steaks provide the proper amount of protein, and come out very tender. I sear the steak 4 minutes per side in cast iron pan. We serve with a baked potatoe cooked in the air fryer and a bag of microwaved steamed vegetables . Yum!

The price seems high when you buy it, but if you think about how much you would pay for the same cut of meat, just one, when you go out for dinner then it really is a steal. You just bought 3 for the price of one dinner and sides can be bought a lot cheaper than the price of another dinner.

Tasty nice thick steaks that cook well on the grill. I purchase these as I can afford them as it makes a great meals for celebrations and such. I detest fat as it doesn't go well with my stomach but with the grilling it pretty much keeps that from getting into the steak so I cut off what is left and the steak is perfect! Pricey but so delicious being nice and thick!

I live near a local butcher's and i used to never buy meat from Walmart, to be honest, i used to assumed the quality wasn't great. The butcher's store near me has closed for renovations so I purchased steak for the first time from Walmart recently and was very pleasantly surprised!! The steak was a great color looking very fresh it was firm to the touch in the package and once i opened it, it smelled just as fresh as it looked. The steak cooked up nicely and was very tender, we all enjoyed it with our salad and baked potatoes, the only negative i can say is that one person did have a hard to chew gristley piece but otherwise it was a great meal. This was my second time buying steak from Walmart and I plan to purchase again as the price is better than at my local shop.

These New York strip steaks were an excellent buy. The cuts were thick, well-marbled, and very fresh. Once cooked, they were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Seasoned simply with salt and pepper and cooked on the grill, they turned out restaurant-quality. The family pack is convenient and offers great value for the quality. I would absolutely recommend these and will definitely purchase them again.

We celebrated Father’s Day the right way — with thick-cut New York Strip Steaks (Choice Angus Beef, 3 per tray, Family Pack), grilled to perfection by yours truly and seasoned simply with salt, pepper, and a generous kiss of butter. The husband? Speechless mid-bite (a rare miracle). Grandpa? Nodded like he was saluting a perfectly seared flag. Both called it a delicious tribute — and I have to agree. Juicy, flavorful, and sizzling with just the right amount of char, these steaks didn’t just honor the day — they owned it. Mom's grill skills: undefeated. Will definitely be firing these up again.
